Did you know that elephants can’t jump? That humans are the only animals to blush? And that Australia is wider than the moon? Everyone loves a random fact and they’re a great way to start a conversation!
This activity is a chance to learn and debate some juicy facts. You’ll no doubt know some, while others might make you go “ooh”, “aah” – or even “no way, that can’t be true!”
We recommend enjoying this fun activity in a small group or 1-on-1.
What you need
- A list of random facts (download resource)
The Activity
- Invite the person or group to sit at a table or comfortable chair (in a quiet space if possible)
- Introduce the activity and say how you will be sharing some random facts
- You can use the resource provided (or any others that you are aware of)
- Introduce the first fact and encourage discussion around it
- Continue to the next fact
- Ask the group if they know of any other random facts that they would like to share
- Continue with the session for as long as everyone is happy or when you’ve gone through all the facts
