Intro

Speed is of the essence in this lively marble race! It’s simple to set up and loads of fun to play. It involves skill and patience, and also brings out everyone’s competitive streak.

The game is racing against your teammates to spoon as many marbles as you can into the hole of the flowerpot. The winner is the person who gets in the most!

This is a great game for parties and fetes too.

The Activity

Stand the large flowerpot upside down in a tray, with a handful of marbles and a wooden spoon
Tell everyone that the aim of the game is to spoon as many marbles as possible into the flowerpot through the hole within 30 seconds
The winner is either the person (or multiple people) who hits the target amount you set at the beginning of the game, or the person who gets the most marbles in the hole throughout the game – just write down their names to keep track
At the end of the game, give the winner or winners a prize!
