Intro

Throwing an Independence Day party on the 4th July is a lovely way to stimulate the senses – whether it’s seeing iconic landmarks like the Statue of Liberty, listening to the sounds of rock ‘n’ roll, or tasting famous foods like mac ‘n’ cheese.

We recommend planning a gentle, but fun afternoon. Perhaps with an Elvis tribute act or rock ‘n’ roll singer for entertainment. Families and friends welcome!

The Activity

  1. Enjoy a tasty American-themed lunch of burgers, fries and ice cream sundaes. Yummy!
  2. Next invite everyone to join in the activities and entertainment
  3. Play one of the American themed games – ‘Where in the USA?’ or ‘Red, white and blue’
  4. Enjoy the entertainment, encouraging everyone to engage, whether that’s listening, dancing or singing along!
  5. Once the entertainer has finished, play the other American-themed game – ‘Where in the USA?’ or ‘Red, white and blue’
  6. Finish off the session with a cup of coffee or pop, and a naughty sweet treat
