About Lorena

A Lorraine Brown le diagnosticaron Alzheimer de inicio temprano en 2014, tras 26 años de trabajo en el sector de la salud mental. Su familia y colegas comenzaron a notar cambios en su comportamiento que Lorraine creyó que se debían al estrés, pero tras un largo proceso, recibió el diagnóstico. Desde entonces, Lorraine se ha convertido en una defensora de las personas con demencia y espera crear mayor conciencia.

Lorraine comparte en sus videos cómo sufre el síndrome del atardecer, explica cómo la hace sentir esto y cómo ha podido afrontarlo.

Quiero dar voz a las personas que viven con demencia. Esa es mi misión: que más personas entiendan cómo nos sentimos. Quiero demostrar que aún podemos hacer mucho y que aún tenemos voz.
