Meet Alzheimer’s Research UK, our official charity partner.
At Relish, we know how difficult and heartbreaking it is to witness someone you love face dementia. That’s why we’re supporting a charity giving hope to people living with dementia now, and future generations to come.
As the UK’s leading dementia research charity, Alzheimer’s Research UK is working to revolutionise the way dementia is treated, diagnosed and prevented. And then, to find a cure for it.
To do this, the charity is investing in the best research, powering the most forward-thinking scientists and joining forces with world-class organisations that will lead us to a world without dementia.
We had a few questions about dementia, here’s what they said:
What type of research do you fund?
We fund pioneering research into understanding the diseases that cause dementia, improving diagnosis, finding out more about how to reduce risk, and developing treatments.
Can people reduce their risk of dementia?
Just as we can protect other areas of our health, we can take steps to keep our brains healthy and reduce our risk of developing dementia later in life.
Our Think Brain Health initiative is an ongoing celebration of everything our incredible brains do for us and a guide to the simple things we can do to protect them in return.
How else can I support Alzheimer's Research UK?
There are plenty of ways to support dementia research. Whether you’d like to fundraise, volunteer at our events, or even take part in studies - anything you can do to help will take us closer to a cure.
Discover ways in which you can help on our website.
How can I donate?
