Intro
This lively game is sure to bring fun and giggles to any afternoon. It’s an opportunity for people to express themselves creatively through singing, dancing, joke telling – or any kind of performance – in front of friends. It is certainly better suited to the more extrovert members of the group, but others may be keen to be brave and have a go.
So what are you waiting for? Let loose and unleash the actor within!
What you need
- A large die
- Cards numbered 1-6
The Activity
- Explain the activity first to make sure everyone is happy to join in
- Put a numbered card in front of each person, making sure they can see it – this is their number for the whole game
- Invite the first person to throw the die
- Whoever’s number is called has to stand up (or sit if needed) and perform. Invite them to sing a few lines of a song, recite a poem, tell a joke, show off their dancing skills – or something else!
- Encourage each person to be as creative as possible (there are no wrong answers or bad performances)
- Keep going and rolling the die until everyone feels they have been as creative as they wish, or have had a few turns each
