Do Aquapaints come with a paintbrush?

Currently, the Aquapaints do not come with a paintbrush.

How do I paint the picture?

Using just a paintbrush and some water. Dip the paintbrush into the water and brush across the picture to see it emerge! We recommend using a low dish with a little water to help make it easier to dip the brush and minimise any mess if it is accidentally spilt over.

How long does the image last before fading?

Once fully painted with water, the sheet can take 15-20 minutes to dry. Once dry, the image disappears. The time may vary depending on the amount of water applied and the room temperature.

How long do they last?

With regular use, the sheets should last for a few years.

How can I keep the image?

Once coated with water, brush over the whole image with a little Olive Oil and it will retain the colours. After leaving for an hour, gently wipe off residual oil.

What type of paintbrush do you recommend using?

We suggest using a paintbrush with 1cm thick bristles to help make sure the image is not painted too quickly or too slowly. The handle of the brush should be around 1.5cm thick to make it easier to hold. If a person tends to use a lot of pressure while painting, then a brush with a plastic casing around the bristles will be better.

What are the care instructions for Aquapaints?

We recommend cleaning with just water and a clean cloth. Please do not use chemical agents to clean art sheets, as they may damage the images. If properly cared for, your art sheets can last many years. Please be careful not to scratch the surface. We recommend brushes without a metal grip for this reason.

How many images come in a pack?

Can you do customised images?

Due to the nature of the coating and how they are manufactured, we are unable to make personalised Aquapaints.
