What you need

  1. A pen
  2. Paper

Intro

Although most of us will have played this chain drawing game when we were growing up – we’ll never grow out of finding it funny. All you need is a pen, paper and a few spare moments with a small group of friends who want to have a giggle!

The Activity

  1. Gather the group around the table
  2. Pass the sheet of paper to your first artist and ask them to draw a head and neck at the top of the paper, taking care to keep their drawing hidden
  3. Take the paper from them once they’re finished and fold it over, so just a small section of the neck is showing
  4. Pass this to your next artist and ask them to draw the top half of a body
  5. Take the paper from them, and fold it again so only a small glimpse of the torso can be seen
  6. Ask your next person to draw the upper legs and then repeat the steps above
  7. Your final artist will draw the knees downwards and once they’re finished, you can take the paper from them and ta-dah! The final portrait can be revealed!
