What you need
- ½ tbsp cinnamon
- ½ cup of caster sugar
- 2 whole apples, peeled, cored and thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp butter
- Bowl
- Wooden spoon
The Activity
- Mix the sugar and cinnamon together well in a bowl
- Slice the apples
- Toss the apples into the sugar mix and coat well
- Melt the butter in a saucepan
- Once melted, add the apples and cook over a medium-high heat, stirring gently
- Cook for about 10 minutes, or until the apples are very soft
- Serve warm, with a little cream or vanilla ice cream. Yum!
