Intro

This activity is a lovely way to bring spring indoors, especially for those who struggle to get outdoors and enjoy this joyful season. It’s where we make some simple yet beautiful blossom displays from tissue paper for everyone to admire.

The Activity

  1. Lay all the tissue paper squares on the table
  2. Give a glass jar to each person
  3. Take some twigs and arrange them in the jar
  4. Encourage the group to take the individual pieces of tissue paper and screw them up into ball shapes to make the blossoms
  5. Once you’ve made enough blossoms, start gluing them to the branches to create mini trees in bloom
  6. Once the trees are bursting with blossom, display it where it can be enjoyed by everyone
